Started in 1985 as one of the most premiere South Indian Restaurants in the heart of Little India.

 

But for the last 15 years, the vision of Madras Mahal changed towards providing authentic Kosher ~ South Indian cuisines. Today, we have become the largest sit-down, Indian Kosher Restaurant.

 

Due to popular demand, we have expanded into the world of catering. Serving to City Officials, Bar Mitzvahs, Weddings, and many other events throughout the tri-state area.

"This Restaurant is a South and North Indian Cuisine. They are a strict vegetarian Restaurant. No meat, no fish, not even eggs, are served here. Vegetables, like broccoli, cabbage, lettuce and Roman-Lettuce, cauliflower, are cleaned under supervision. No bugs or insects. Everything, spices, vegetables, legumes are supervised. Therefore, the Restaurant is strictly KOSHER."
